Technology need
Sensor to detect a traffic light in daylight
Summary of the technological need
A sensor technology to detect a traffic light, in broad daylight, from a distance away.
Background
The challenge is to have a sensor that is sensitive enough to distinguish and discriminate the existence of a traffic light in the field of view even within daylight condition, thus glaring conditions. The sensor should have a resolution sufficient enough to detect the traffic light from a distance.
