As a key partner in the consortium, iQrypto is leveraging its expertise in advanced quantum technologies to bridge the gap between theoretical physics and real-world microchip integration.
For iQrypto, the project is an opportunity to extend capabilities first developed around QRNG characterisation towards a wider range of quantum and photonic components, including high-performance control electronics, modulator interfaces, monitoring and system integration.
This marks an important evolution for the company: from supplying a quantum entropy source to providing part of the electronics and software infrastructure that makes advanced quantum hardware usable in larger systems.
Q-PLANET is a major European initiative developing industrial-grade technologies for neutral-atom quantum computing, sensing and communication.
Our QRNG was the starting point. To characterise it, we had to develop advanced electronics, FPGA capabilities and software tools. These technologies then became valuable platforms in their own right.
