Developed to manage the requirements of ITER components, the CR-897 toolkit has been designed to operate through the commercial software IBM DOORS in order to improve the management of processes. A digital interface will lead to an in-depth analysis of data and therefore a better control of the management system. This invention will enable users to be assisted in the matching, propagation and verification of the technical requirements of a product.
The CR-897 toolkit is the first companion that will allow non-IT experts to better control requirements management and verification processes. It doesn’t require further development or testing and can shorten IBM Rational ® DOORS® ramp up by 75%. The CR-897 brings simplicity in process and stability over the technical quality of supplied goods. Therefore, it could interest companies from sectors with complex supply chains operating in nuclear, aerospace, pharma, automotive, telecommunications or electronics. It is worth noting that the corresponding license is needed for IBM’s commercial software Rational DOORS and Rational DOORS Requirements Management Framework Add-on.
