Eurosealings NV,
a Belgian expert in the design and manufacturing of high-performance sealing solutions, has successfully expanded from terrestrial industrial applications to becoming a new supplier for the space industry.
Originally focused on demanding sectors like chemical processing and LNG transport, the company utilized its deep expertise in advanced materials—specifically PTFE and metallic superalloys like Inconel—to address the extreme requirements of space exploration.

A composition of various types of Eurosealings products: O-ring and C-ring metal seals, spring-energized lip seals, reinforcement rings.
The company’s journey to space-related revenue was supported through the ESA Tech Broker Belgium Prepare for Space measure. By engaging in a comprehensive 12-month training program, Eurosealings transformed its business model through:
- Targeted Market Alignment: Identifying critical needs in rocket propulsion, LOX tank systems, and cryogenic actuators where their seals—capable of operating from -270°C to 800°C—offered immediate technical advantages.
- Regulatory Mastery: Bridging the knowledge gap by adopting European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) standards and mastering ESA tendering procedures.
- Strategic Coaching: Refining their business case and pricing strategies specifically for the space supply chain.
Through this methodical approach, Eurosealings successfully elevated its technology readiness level for space applications, evolving from a company with zero space revenue to a trusted partner supplying essential components to several space industry leaders.
As of May 2026, the company is already supplying its products (of all types: O-ring metal seals, spring-energized C-ring polymer seals, etc…) to 4 different space projects related to rocket propulsion, but the outlook is very promising even beyond this application.
We wish Eurosealings all the best in their expansion to space and remain available to support it in all the ways possible.
