Technology need
Summary of the technological need
A miniature heating chamber for heating a flowing fluid that is easily manufacturable.
Background
A cheap yet small and performant heating chamber or labyrinth is needed to quickly/precisely/real-time heat up a liquid solution from room temperature to 150°C whilst flowing through the chamber at
a rate of 1ml/10s. This requires high power incoupling (heat transfer) of resistance heaters or printed heaters or into the liquid. This described heat exchanger needs to be easily manufacturable.
Technology is needed for an appliance for spraying liquids and gels. A new innovative spraying solution has been developed in proof of concept and is now to be miniaturized. Therefore, the need is a small and performant heating chamber.
