A technology or material to produce inherently insulated pipes, without having to add insulation material later on.
Background
The challenge: pipes need to be insulated in order to prevent the transported liquid to either cool too much or freeze too mush.
The current solution: Insulation material is put on top of the pipes
Desired technological solution: Making a pipe out of smart material such that the insulation characteristics is intrinsic to the pipe, thus removing the need for extra insulation.
